Living for Him

Once saved, the grass is made green. However grass needs water, And if you don’t feed that grass it will begin to dry out and die. Soon you will be walking on dry dirt, and other substances in your life will try and take place of God’s water and turn the dirt to mud in which you will become stuck in and struggle to find solid ground.

So many are stuck in that mud and have come to a point where they are okay with it. That their life is fine where it is and they are ‘saved’. However, the journey to salvation doesn’t end until you are with Jesus in heaven.

It doesn’t end until you are riding up on that chariot, because we don’t have to die in the flesh. Why would you want to die of this world when you can fly into the heavens, just as Elijah did. And also, we can not forget our mission to save others.

So we are God’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead “Come back to God!”

I believe the Lord asks us;

Why are you okay with the things of this world? Why don’t you strive to know me more? I have so much wonder to show you but if you won’t follow me you will be stuck behind and will find it harder and harder to catch up. Why aren’t you praying to save your brothers and sisters? Don’t you see my people suffering? Don’t you see how they will burn? They wonder the streets searching for something to satisfy their empty lives, they lose themselves in drugs and alcohol just to fall even further. Pray they will not stray to the places of the devil but walk until they find me and taste the glory of a fulfilled life in the name of Jesus Christ.

Get excited in the lord, that he may fill us all and spread it out across the nations for it starts here in us.

Take away the things affecting you. Whether it’s the media, movies, music, etc. Do only as Jesus would, strive to do everything in your day through him and only him. It can be hard, I know. But by taking away our distractions, it becomes easier and more natural.

Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life [2 Corinthians 5:14]

These aren’t rules but a guide to help you get closer to him and know his mercy and love more and more each day.

No body is perfect, and God will never expect you to be. Pray for a refreshing, a new hunger in your life that you may seek his will in everything you do and you will be greatly blessed.

I pray this itself is a blessing to someone xx
